How to draw a Walther PPK – James Bond’s Gun

October 22, 20128 Comments

To celebrate the opening of SkyFall, the latest James Bond movie (which is said to be really great) I thought I’d do a video about how to draw His preferred gun The Walther PPK.

It was designed before the Second World War by Walther in Germany, as a short police pistol – easy to carry and conceal under clothing. The slide had a habit of cutting the web between the tumb and forefinger so they added the tang on the bottom of the magazine to extend the grip further downwards in the 1960′s when Bond was first being filmed.

Here’s a diagram of the various angles and proportions to help you draw it.
