If you didn’t grow up in the USA or Canada, you probably don’t know about Mr Roger’s Neighbourhood. It was a gently-paced show for young children, teaching honest, simple values and lessons to young children.
I’ve had their privilege of getting to know Danny Joe of Danny Joe’s Tree House. His show is such a breath of fresh air amongst the raucous chaos of most children’s entertainment. I think it is a really important, quiet space for kids to collect themselves and connect with their calmer, thoughtful, caring sides.
Danny Joe and Stefani, who films, edits and produces, need help to keep going until humans take Danny Joe onwards to his rightful place as a national treasure, a part of every present day child’s memory of childhood and an inspirer of solid values in a wold that doesn’t seem to care that much any more.
