First #shoobeedoodles

The first two #Shoobeedoodle posts from last friday’s video on my @shooraynerdrawing channel have been posted on instagram. They are from HumbleVoyager and cobaltclam – love that it’s drawn in the corner of a newspaper on crossword scratch space! It shows that you can draw on anything and shows that you don’t have to wait for the perfect moment to draw with pristine paper and perfect pen!

Why not share your #shoobeedoodle drawing – I’ll give you a heart and a follow!?

  1. Hi, Shoo–

I showed the draw-a-woman’s-head video to a friend with children. Her younger son is 11 and has artistic talent. So I got him an art kit, a pad of paper and your book “Everyone Can Draw.” His mother is also going to show him your videos and may draw along with him, as she wants to learn to draw, too. My friend’s daughter is turning 7 this week. I ordered your book “Pandora: The most Curious Girl in the World” for her, plus a couple of dolls. It is so much fun to be sharing your inspired work with friends and their children.

    Cheers,
    Marian

Thanks Marian – you are so generous to your friends! Drawing has a way of “drawing”people together in a quiet, thoughtful comradeship. It’s one of those things that needs a bit of time and space in the midlle of all the rush, that lets you collect your thought s and unwind. so. a great gift for your friends and their children.
