My new local library in Coleford, has rather swish new shelves. They look like they are made of glass but I think they may be polycarbonate. Being transparent, they make the library much brighter and the books appear to float.

The building is in a different part of town to the old one, so I don’t go past often to just drop in. But I gather it is doing very well and getting a lot more visits, so well done all round.
