I wanted a document camera for many reasons: For drawing demonstrations live and over the web and also to use as an art tracer in conjunction with a small lcd projector.

This video is an unboxing and testing out of the cameras abilities when connected to an iMac ( Mid 2010) 3.2 GHz Intel Core i3

The higher the resolution the more “wavy” becomes the motion when demonstrating with hands under the camera. I found the lowest resolution was fine just for demonstration purposes and webcam. The high resolution is great for still images. I particularly like the Exposure lock so light levels don’t veer all over the place when you place hands under the camera.

All in all very pleased with it. It’s chunky, heavy and very well built.
