I think that we all know that websites have cookies by now.
What is new is the websites that block you from entering until you have made some sort of choice about your cookie preferences.
This is such a retrograde step for both user and website owner.
Have a clear GDPR button that goes to a page where you can do your choosing. Most people don’t really care and know that to get the benefits of a free internet, there is a price to be paid somewhere.
As most people are not prepared to pay the real cost of accessing all they do now for free, then they have to accept that websites have cookies. If they are worried about them, then they can leave sites alone, go off the internet, or stick to a nice, safe walled garden of approved sites.
Please – stop blocking your sites! It’s not doing you any good.
