I picked this dragonfly larvae out of my pond, clinging to a stick, about a month ago.
When I put it back, I wondered if I’d ever have the chance to see it emerge. This morning, by pure chance, I noticed something odd under a marsh marigold leaf.
It has emerged – magic!
