A year ago, my darling wife decided she would do The Wizard of Oz as her theme for the Coleford Church Flower Festival this weekend, not knowing that all things Dorothy would be in the headlines. What brilliant timing, but what an extra responsibility with everyone having an opinion on the subject at the moment.

. This week we are preparing. This morning I made seven silver roses out of stuff I used to insulate my studio with. I got the idea from You tube and adapted the method to my own requirements.

Now I’m off to see the Wizard… actually, Im off to make the Emerald City – with a couple of tra-la-las!
