I was asked for a drawing lesson on the Bugatti Veyron. When I checked it out, I had to admit that it has beautiful lines – I don’t suppose I’ll ever get to drive one! The lines actually help a bit when drawing it. You might like to find some photos to help you as extra reference when you try to draw this. Your dad might like it on his father’s day or birthday card!
I’m getting ready for Carfest North this coming weekend the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of August 2013. I will be there with Derwent Pencils showing how to draw stuff and showing off their fantastic range of drawing materials. If you are going to be there, come along to the Derwent tent and say hello.
To get into the mood, I made this video to show how to work out the proportions for designing sports saloon type cars, have fun!
I will be at Carfest North at Oulton Park on the 2nd 3rd and 4th August showing you how to draw all sorts of things and demonstrating some of the fantastic of art materials at the Derwent Pencils tent. Come along and have some fun! To get myself in the mood I’m doing car drawings and this is the first – a beach buggy like what the Monkeys and other hippy types drove around in in the 1960s and 70s. I put flowers on it to make it look a little bit Flower Power!
