Shakespeare Week
It’s Shakespeare Week, a national annual celebration giving primary school children a great first encounter with Shakespeare. To help you along, here are three videos. One showing how to draw the Bard himself and another showing have to draw Hamlet and one more showing how to draw a skull – how else would you illustrate Hamlet?

Yesterday I went up to visit my Publishers in London but in the afternoon I visited the Cosmonaut Exhibition in the Science museum. It was wonderful to see the hardware that I’d only ever seen before on grainy newsreel footage. Sputnik 3 was probably my favourite. It must have had some influence on the design…
