A fresh, new retelling of the classic Just So Story from the author of the Jungle Book, Rudyard Kipling. Written over a hundred years ago. it has been re-written, illustrated and told by British children’s author and illustrator, Shoo Rayner, to bring it up to date with more modern ideas, language and idioms while keeping all the essential language of the original.
I had a fun day working with Trallwng infants today. We based our sessions around the Just So Stories.
With Year Two, we worked out a different way for the How the Leopard got his spots – He was wrapped up in parcel with flowery wrapping paper and sent to Africa. The pattern smudged and transferred to his fur!
Year one did some wonderful JRhinoceros drawings and Reception did fabulous Elephant’s Child Drawings, as you can see. CLICK TO ENLARGE.
