• How much do you think a children’s author makes from each book they sell?     Imagine that the book says £5.00 on the back – it could be $5 or €5.00
    £5.00 = 100% – From that 100% do you think the author gets:

    • 25% = £1.25
    • 10% =0.50p
    • 7.5% = 0.37p
    • 4% = 0.20p
    • 1% =0.05p
