• My latest public library returns tell me that my Bronze Age adventures are being read a lot. This is probably because the Bronze Age is on the school curriculum.

    I was inspired to write it while watching my then 4 year old son, marching up and down the departures line at Heathrow Airport, in his home-made Batman costume, making sure law and order prevailed.

    The smiles on tired passengers faces made me want to do something for him. At that moment, the best thing in the world would be if Batman came for tea.

    I did a little drawing of him in my sketchbook and wrote, the day batman came to tea, below. That’s how it started.

    I made a reading of the first book some time ago and plan to make another of the second book soon.
