I’m sure many schools will be wondering what to do during this ponderous week of mourning following the death of the late Queen.
I have just made this new video showing how to draw His Majesty, King Charles III.
I hope it might be of some help.
The King is really quite hard to draw – I’ll have to keep practicing for the Coronation!
Enjoy – and do let me see your drawings on http://www.twitter.com/shoorayner
It was so sad, yesterday, watching the news come in during the day. I thought it couldn’t be really that bad, could it? So it was quite a hock when the announcement of the Queen’s death came.
I’ve been in the crowd a few times, most memorably representing the Society of Authors at a Buckingham Palace Garden Party. Each time I saw her, it was as if the clouds rolled away and the sunshine came out to illuminate her above everything else. It happened yesterday at Windsor and Buckingham Palace, both enwreathed in rainbows at the time of her death.
I’ve noticed quite an up swing in views of my How to draw Queen Elizabeth videos, so, if you want to draw her, for what ever reason, here again is the video I made for the Platinum Jubilee, such a happy occasion that seems only a moment ago.
