On Friday, the iPad 2 was launched in Europe. I was in Nice and saw the Queues snaking around the Cap 3000 shopping mall, as people tried t get their hands on one. so I thought I’d do a little video to show you how to draw one.
International School Nice
Friday was my last day in France and we went to the International School in Nice. I had a wonderful day there and met my two most ardent fans, Alfie and Sophia who were vying to be number one! The children had done a lot of research about me from my website and seemed to know more about me than I did myself.
It was a very long day. By the time I’d got back to Heathrow and picked up my car and driven back home, it was nearly one i the morning. I’d had to put my clock back and hour so it really felt like two in the morning and then today I had to put my clock forward an hour again, so I’m a little confused!
It was a lovely sunny day and a very friendly school. A week in France has made me realise just how paranoid we have become about school security. British schools have begun to resemble prisons in the last ten years, so it’s refreshing to find old-fashioned trust and hospitality still alive on the Cote D’Azur!
Thanks for a great day everyone.
