• Just in time for Chinese New Year, Here is another Rabbit for you to draw.

  • This video shows the layout galley proofs that I use to work out where the illustrations are going to go in my new book Olympia – Run like the wind.

    The drawings are very rough, but they provide the skeleton of the final drawing, in their final position, so I know exactly how the drawing will fit. These drawing are now with my editor, who will check them over and make any suggestions if she feel the story can be illustrated better or if she thinks I’m not making something clear. When I get the all clear from her, I’ll start on the finished artwork. Meantime, I need to finish writing book three! This is a bit of a production line and I have to keep my wits about me as to which book I’m working on.

  • I’ve been retouching and separating the covers for my new Olympia Series. Separating the character from the background, that is, so I can slightly blur the background to make it seem further away. Here’s a vide that might explain more.

    I made a video of the retouching process but it was incredibly dull!
