• I had a fun day working with Trallwng infants today. We based our sessions around the Just So Stories.

With Year Two, we worked out a different way for the How the Leopard got his spots – He was wrapped up in parcel with flowery wrapping paper and sent to Africa. The pattern smudged and transferred to his fur!

Year one did some wonderful JRhinoceros drawings and Reception did fabulous Elephant’s Child Drawings, as you can see. CLICK TO ENLARGE.

I’m back in my holiday cottage in Cwm Bach.

The swallows are nesting in the barn next to my room. The first I’ve seen this year.

I had a lovely morning in Dartmouth Library on Thursday. I then went on and had a lovely afternoon in Kingsbridge, wher I didn’t have time to take pictures, but thanks to Wendy for arranging everything.

The Castle hotel was having a bit of afire, so the centre was in a bit of a state of fire enginness. Here are some pics from the morning – Really liked the tower of profiteroles in the cake shop window!

  • [slideshow] I’ve not got time to talk about my trip this week, so here are a few pictures from Torquay.
Cobleys fish shop windows, A graffiti on the promenade, the town cross that lookslike a space rocket about to take off at any moment, a dinosaur in a shop window, amazing cap stones on the front – each one looks like a miniature mountain range.

I didn’t have fish and chips at Cobleys _ I went over the road to the Bombay Express, which I can heartily recommend!
