• In case anyone cares, my website is down. My ISP, who I am now completely fed up with, reset my automatic repayment settings, so I lost my site and was greeted with an account suspended page.

I reste my domain name to automatic renewal and they ignored that too, so I had to rush in a manically renew my domain name before anything happened to it. I’m in the process of moving to a new ISP and hope I’ll be up and running soon. All the data is uploaded, it’s just the nameservers that need to be changed over now. Being New Year, I don’t know how long that might take. I’m not going to name and shame until I move all my other domain names over to the new ISP.

  • Macerate

Macerate means to soften something or break it up by soaking it in liquid.

You can soak bread in milk and macerate it with a fork or you can macerate potato in gravy.

There is a machine called a macerator which can be attached to sinks and toilets that mash all the waste into a liquid that can be forced down narrower sewage pipes than would ususally be used. Eee-yew!

  • ANNUNCIATION

Following yesterdays’s word you might think that this was the way an announcement is announced. In a way it is but it has a particular meaning: It is the announcement by the Angel Gabriel to Mary that she would bear the child, Jesus.
