It was left-handers day on Thursday. I decided to try and draw something entirely with my left hand. I searched for famous left-handers and Jimi Hendrix came up. I thought it would be a great subject as his guitar is upside down. I imagine they do make left hand guitars, but they are probably customer built and very expensive – not something you want to cover in lighter fuel every night and set fire to!

Having drawn it I was quite pleased. It’s very difficult doing all that hand eye coordination. I found I had to work really hard on decoding the reference photo and translating it into hand movements.

Then I decided to paint it left handed too! That was weird. As for writing the words, I think that was hardest of all!
