How to draw a Skeleton Tree

Learn how to draw this spooky Skeleton Tree. It’s quite easy realy, you just have to plan ahead where you are going to put all the bones!

On a recent visit to the British Museum, I was inspired by a Triptych wood cut print by the Japanese Artist, Utagawa Hiroshige (1797 – 1858)

In the picture, Taira no Kiyomori is haunted by spectres in the snow. He’s drawn these as skeletons, some skeletons are fused together as trees. I started sketching it there and then.

When I got home I practiced a bit and worked out how to fill the page up with this spooky Skeleton Tree design. Have a go.

If you find the skull a bit difficult, then I’ll be making a tutorial on Drawstuffrealeasy very soon.
