Circles with dots in are the easiest way to get emotion into a character. the rest -the eyebrows, nose and mouth are like accents in writing, they change the meaning of the eyes, so that angry eyes could also be concentrating hard kind of eyes, but the mouth will probably finish the effect of the emotion. showing teeth for anger and a set jaw for concentration and determination.
