• All the parts that make up a face go in to creating the look of emotions. It is the relationship of these parts and how they are twisted and drooped and lifted and angled that creates the impression of an emotion.

    I think that most emotion comes from the eyes. Circles with dots in are the easiest way to get emotion into a character. the rest -the eyebrows, nose and mouth are like accents in writing, they change the meaning of the eyes, so that angry eyes could also be concentrating hard kind of eyes, but the mouth will probably finish the effect of the emotion. showing teeth for anger and a set jaw for concentration and determination.
