So – you can see the pictures in your head, but you can’t draw them?
Well, it’s like having a story in your head, but you never learned your ABC and never developed a vocabulary with which to tell the story.
You can’t draw what’s in your head because you either don’t try or have never learned the language of drawing. You have to make a lot of mistakes and have a lot of failures to get better, and failure is something we hate.
Be brave draw, draw, draw and then draw some more. Make mistakes, but learn from them and build your language of drawing.
Learn the vocabulary of drawing so that you can put shapes, lines, shades and colours together to let the world know what is going on inside your head!
